So, obviously we didn't move to wordpress. Wanted to, but unfortunately it wasn't going to be much better if I moved there anyway. So, I guess we'll stay until the next crisis. I really don't have time to change things now.
As for Baroness, we've hit a few bumps in the road. Life has been rather chaotic for everyone and it's been putting a hold on our getting things done. The script is close to being finished, but is still ever-looming. We've got two months to finish that, get everyone cast and several costumes finished before June. Hold a garage sale, praying that people will actually show up, I have to purchase a camera with whatever money I happen to have at the time. I'm a little scared about that as I don't have a lot of time to save the full amount, but if I can purchase it on a payment plan and of course keep up my payments, maybe I can work something out.
So much to do.
Anyway, I've made some progress in the accessories department. Took me the whole day, but I was able to complete (at least as complete as they can be until I finish buying supplies) four jewelry pieces. I'm not crafty by any means, so me actually creating something from scratch, with no guidance other than photos I've seen, is a shock. I feel rather accomplished considering. I have to go buy clasps for one, and hooks for earrings, some more glass pearls and then pin backs for one of the pieces so it can be attached to the dress. I have pin backs now, but they're large enough you can tell they're there. I'm not usually a perfectionist about stuff like that, but as this is a period, 16th century film, I have this neurotic desire to make it as accurately as I can.
Even though it's about a bunch of girls learning how to use swords and beating men up... Which... Really isn't... Accurate. Much...
But despite that, the costumes and the jewelry will be as accurate as it can be with what we have. So, not the greatest, but I'm pretty proud of how they turned out.
Well, I have stuff to do, so I'll be going. Hope we can get it all together.

"That's so admirable!"
Note: If you are interested in helping us create this monsterpiece, please remember it will require a great deal of commitment. This does not mean Sara and I are opposed to scheduling around jobs and real life, as we have them too. Just remember, if you make the commitment, you will be expected to show up, do what you've said you will and when it is scheduled. I do not want to waste my time or anyone else's time as we have precious little of it.
Thank you for your understanding.
